At 19, Finlay became one of the youngest-ever winners of So You Think You’re Funny, following Peter Kay, Lee Mack and Sarah Millican. Three years later, his debut Edinburgh show OK Zoomer was nominated for NextUp’s Best Show award and released as a special in October 2023, amassing over 550,000 views. Drawing on his experience as Gen Z, his comedy led Chortle to hail him as “the voice of his generation.”

His 2024 Fringe show I Deserve This received multiple five-star reviews, won Entertainment Now’s “WoW” award and earned an ISH Best Show nomination, with The Guardian calling it “comedy gold.” Alongside a YouTube channel with over 550k subscribers and hit online series, he has appeared on Have I Got News For You, Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Bake Off Extra Slice, The Stand-Up Sketch Show, Comedy Central Live and The BBC New Comedy Awards.
