Well we have the course for you!
Our courses are run by our experienced comedians with a view to helping you take your first steps on to the stage.
There is no pressure to make that jump to a full show, so if you just want to see what it is all about and build up a bit of confidence feel free to sign up.

We love welcoming international comedians to Tokyo Comedy Bar! That said, we receive more guest spot requests than we can handle, so please read the following carefully before reaching out. This will help us process submissions more effectively and set realistic expectations.

We are unable to accommodate every request. Typical guest spots are unpaid. Full weekend bookings (as seen in the U.S. club circuit) are not available. While we welcome headliners, please understand that narrative-style solo hours (UK/Australia festival-style shows) are challenging to sell in Tokyo unless you have an existing local fanbase. Most headlining opportunities will be on a mixed bill showcase. We do not recommend traveling to Tokyo solely to perform comedy, however if you are planning to be in town, get in touch! We’d love to see if something works.
Confirmed Travel Dates Only
Please only submit if your travel to Tokyo is already confirmed. We don’t discuss “potential” or hypothetical dates.
Availability Window
Include only the specific dates you’re available to perform in Tokyo. Omit travel days or days you’re otherwise unavailable. We book guest spots 2–3 weeks out, but feel free to follow up if you haven’t heard back.
Performance Video
Please send a link to a full, recent club set viewable online. Do not send files via WeTransfer or similar download services. Short reels or social clips are not sufficient to evaluate your live performance skills.
